Frustrating Result

Frustrating result. We gave those two goals away too easily. Luiz had a mare tbh. Completely unnecessary mistakes.
We gotta quit playing the ball out from the back every single time.

I felt that the score flattered Liverpool a little bit.

Came back late from internationals, didn't really get any minutes in pre-season. Think he'll start from now on

Arsenal were poor to be honest. Defend and then trying punts. Two chances first half was from our direct mistakes. And cebellos, no wonder real got shot of him.

Pepe looked decent but can he finish

Most of watched a different game, we played on the counter, caused you a lot of problems first half which Pepe should have had a couple. Granted In the 2nd half after the pen you blew us away but before that it was an even game. Top side though, respect.

Exactly. Dont know what some have watched?

Bit of a cruise for Liverpool to be honest.
Could have scored more, but happy with 3-1.
Arsenals defence will cost them against the better sides, but nevertheless, fancy them to take 4th this season.

Haha... good one!

Emery doesn't seem to rate him for some reason. I'm convinced Guendo will get more playing time than him this season.

Better sides?

I can only think of City who are better and that's only just.

They could have scored a few more however we could also have scored a few more.

One might argue if only Pepe had scored that early, "easy" chance.....
However, this Arsenal team showed little imagination, energy or passion and, as another contributor stated, Emery appears to be a dud. He lacks tactical skills! It appeared to me that at the end Arsenal was running out the clock and happy to not have been humiliated, plus the defensive marking on the first goal was pathetic. The Gunners could really us someone like Zaha to inject some excitement into this team.

Arsenal will win plenty of games. I'm starting to think that this Liverpool side really are very good.

There was some stat that said Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 40 games at Anfield or something like that.

Expecting a result today was unrealistic, but I did expect a better performance than what we got.

Unfortunately though, I think we simply don’t have the quality/personnel to perfect the tactics Emery wanted against a very good Liverpool side at Anfield.

Their players and manager are better than ours. Ultimately, that’s why they won.

Not much else we could have done.

And I suppose most of us expected 0 points before the game and that’s precisely what we got.

We need to beat Spurs next week though.

Yeah. I hate saying it, but it's difficult to see how liverpool can be beaten. Too much threat from all angles. It really is a top 2, and a best of the rest.

Talking 'stats', the last team to win a premier league game at.....

Man Utd - Palace
Arsenal - Palace
Man City - Palace
Liverpool - Palace

Weird tbh.
