Good performance again today by the hoops ,very comfortable in what could have been a tricky one given the European match we had on Thursday. Great to see Bayo get off the mark on his first start, looks as if he may be a useful addition after all?
One thing concerns me though going forward and thats the fact that Lenny is a huge Broony fan and i wonder if constantly playing him may be to our detriment now?
So far this season its looked like a season too far ,hes now being caught out too often and making ridiculous decisions due to his lack of both pace and speed of thought .
Personally Ive Never been a huge Broony fan hes a character and a good leader but has never been a great player IMHO ,maybe 2/3 good seasons out of all his time here.

It was always going to get to this stage with Brown. He was never a technically gifted player but he could put himself about and had lots of energy. Now that his legs are gone, he doesn't offer much.
Brown got a bit of a second wind under Rodgers, but even then Rodgers saw it and started playing McGregor in that role, and we played some great football. The warning signs have been there since Deila's last season that Brown needed to be replaced but as usual we've went with the "wait and see" recruitment policy.

i wouldn't say Rodgers saw it?he found out more due to necessity in that he played Calmac in there because Broony was injured, interestingly it just happened to coincide with our best form of last season as Calmac played the role superbly well but as soon as Broony was fit Rodgers played him again and it was back to the slowed down game..
Lennys comments about building the team around Broony concern me.

The difference last season with mcgregor in there was night and day. Also makes the whole Ntcham, Christie Rogic situation much easier,
He'll play at ibrox though.

Agree Brown should only be given a start if warranted. Last season some games he was unstoppable but blew hot and cold. Could be an important sub for us. We have a squad. Time to use it.
