Torino Preview Thread

Sorry to hear that Gem's typing finger has a bug - so here is a very temporary alternative.

No preamble blurb - straight to the point. How will we respond to Sunday's, let's face it, very poor performance?

I reckon we'll do the necessary and win 2-1.

Nuff said - anybody got anything to say?

Should be another cracking match thread.... and preview (to a lesser degree) should Gem manage to sort out his hard drive

In the Carabao Cup, probably on September 25th, Wolves will be at home to Reading

Dave Edwards no longer there, so that should make things easier.

Where IS Dave Edwards anyway, he went missing somewhere between us and Reading didn't he?

The great man was at Shrewsbury last I heard .

Torino will be without two of their first choice defenders tonight. One has a hamstring injury and the other has stayed in Italy pending a transfer to Roma

Remember when we were a "selling club"?

Keane, Lescott.....

Those were sad days when not getting promoted meant not being able to hold on to our best players

Hopefully the club will keep progressing so we don’t lose our currrent stars and manager

That is incredible bute. You are just left with the question why. But if he is allowed to buy the club for £1 and seemingly have no obligation to clear their debts then I suppose why not. He has ended the club but the football authorities have to shoulder the blame also for not having any safeguards in place to protect the club for the fans. Wolves were ultimately saved by the council stepping in to buy the land and preserving Molineux as a sports venue. I am sure the councils of Bury, Bolton and Coventry could have done more also to keep their clubs operational
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Councils don’t have enough money to secure their own operations these days; let alone that of a football club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A council official was on Northwest Tonight (our version of Central News or Midlands Today) & stated that nobody would get planning permission to use the land for anything other than Sport - no houses allowed, at least they are trying to help
