STEVEN GERRARD has named four changes for this eveningโs Europa League play-off, second leg tie with Legia Warsaw at Ibrox.
Itโs a crucial night for the club as they attempt to reach the Europa League group stages for the second consecutive season, and the manager has picked a strong-looking side to hopefully get them there.
In defence, Nikola Katic comes back in for Filip Helander, Steven Davis replaces Glen Kamara in midfield while up-front, Sheyi Ojo and Alfredo Morelos replace Jordan Jones and Jermain Defoe.
That means itโs a back five of Allan McGregor in goals, captain James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Katic and Borna Barisic.
Joe Aribo and Ryan Jack join Davis in midfield, while up front, Ojo and Scott Arfield support Morelos.
There are plenty of options on the bench from Gerrard, beginning with Helander, Kamara, Jones and Defoe, as well as Wes Foderingham, Jon Flanagan and Greg Stewart.
RANGERS: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Barisic; Jack, Davis, Aribo; Ojo, Morelos, Arfield.
SUBS: Foderingham, Helander, Kamara, Jones, Defoe, Flanagan, Stewart.

We are in pot 4. Still the 3rd lowest coefficient in the competition.
I want United, Krasnodar and Qarabag. A big game and two teams we should get the better of

Oh well pot 4 it is then.
Great result and well done Stevie G and the team for getting us there.
Interesting stat that out of 16 qualifying games over two seasons we’ve not been behind once.
It’ll be very tough in the group stages but great progress has been made.

On train home from the game, tired and throats killing, frustrating game to watch, couldn’t really see where a goal was coming from to be honest, Warsaw seemed to deal with everything we threw at them, some poor efforts in goal as well, delighted with the win and the avoidance of extra time.... all in all, very happy tonight and looking forward to at least one more euro tie before expulsion ๐๐

They had a plan and it was working
You’re correct in that we had decent chances
That said they are very organised so 1-0 is fine
First goal they lost in 11 games
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Said that to my mate, they were only behind for 6 minutes throughout the qualifiers and only conceded one goal and they are out ๐๐.... 16 qualifier games and we haven’t trailed for a single second... fantastic stat

I know they gave Katic man of the match and he was excellent
Ryan Jack though has surprised me with the level he’s playing at

Both look great. Jack has really stood out though and hard to imagine him not being the starter in majority of games he's available for.

Just woke up to see we are through!!! Get in!!!
Alfredo Morelos!!!
Brilliant. European football till Christmas minimum.
Pleased to see both Rangers and Celtic get through. Good for our league, good for the coefficient and just makes things interesting from now till Christmas.
Thursday , Sunday all the way!

It actually is pretty interesting. Another competition in which to wish the other ill. And we’re both equally disadvantaged by the number of games.
That being said, Rangers cheated and their goal was offside.
