Poch

I dunno what to think of him any more.

The CL run covered up a terrible season, which has continued in to this and our football is boring to watch.
Even Kane looks awful in this team, the team is a shambles.

I wouldn’t be too distressed if he leaves, especially since he always makes remarks about leaving, well if you don’t want to be here you know where the door is.
He’s like a crazy girlfriend threatening to leave you before changing her mind when she realises she has no where to go.
I don’t get his arrogance, he’s won nothing, messed up chances the times he could of won something and then thinks he’s billy big balls cos he’s got us to finish 1 place higher than jam roly-poly Redknapp.

""I went to a dinner with Daniel [Levy] at Christmas. He took all the staff out and he made a speech, which isn’t Daniel-like. I was embarrassed the way he spoke about me. "Kevin [Bond] and Joe [Jordan] said ‘He doesn’t show his feelings but he certainly showed his feelings towards you today, Harry’. There were other directors there, months later I was gone . . . quite amazing really."

""Was it Levy who cut the cord? It was other people, the owner of the club [Lewis] that decided."

Poch is an unlucky manager, when you look at the way the PL has shaped up since he took over. It's currently the hardest it's ever been to win thanks to the overspending of City and the dominance that has come from that.

We had no real right to win the PL in 2015/16, but came the closest of all the top 6 and only a one in a million Leicester coming from nowhere stopped that. Next season a rejuvenated Chelsea with no European football were the difference. All the while our rivals are outspending us.

You can blame Poch for certain selections in certain games but the bigger picture is he's punched above his weight and been unlucky. Yet people still ask more of him. Why don't you ask more of the board? The only arguable time they have shown ambition to try and win one of the big prizes has been this summer and even then things could have been done better.

I love Poch but I think any Coach has a shelf life of 3-4 years max unless you are a Ferguson or Wenger !!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well that’s ridiculous because you only know those coaches are capable of longevity after the fact.

We’ve had a difficult calendar year, no question. Even so we managed to cling onto 4th and reach the CL final. Amazing how many of our fans are willing to throw our best manager for 35 years to the lions rather than a) apply some context to our situation and b) have some patience.

so does it make a great manager to have a great team and win fk all or a shiiit team and win something

If so then Ramos and Graham are better managers
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As it stands I would take a manager who wins trophies every day of the week. Ramos and Grahma were not everybody`s cup of tea, but they both delivered, and nobody can take that away from them. Poch has had a lot more time than both, with much better players, and has not delivered a bean, so something not right.

If he keeps picking the wrong starting 11, playing shlt football and losing games he will get sack and he will deserve it

You cannot say any manager has been unlucky when they have only won four Prem games in six months, and all against either relegated, promoted or relegation threatened teams. The excuses do cut it any more mate.

The football being played today is no better than the stuff under Ramos or AVB. Just there seems to be a love in for Poch. Results wise currently Poch is probably doing worse than both.
