How big a loss is Pontus?

Second game where we have dominated, and lost points because the opposition are first to the ball in our own box. Swansea were threatening before the goal but we failed to pay heed to that and paid the price. Really feeling the loss of the big man today.

No loss at all, Ben White more that makes up for it

Ben White is a loan, Pontus was a permanent signing. The performances of Ben have been brilliant, but as I said a few days ago, that only sees his value increase match by match.

As for being mugged - yes I thought overall we were. But then I thought the draw against Forest saw us mugged …… in both matches we were the better side overall. But that's 5 points lost in 2 home games through being mugged. It's time to stopped being mugged and start binning teams at home. We need to start converting chances and stop trying to pass to a team mate so they take responsibility. Someone has said it above, I wish some players would put their boots through the ball a bit more. Even if it misses, it can deflect, get spilled by the keeper or just plain cause confusion and uncertainty in opposing defences.

Bamford and Klich both not happy to be subbed and didn't Swansea start to come back into it a bit after these substitutions? By taking out Klich, Bielsa left a hole in the middle that Forshaw couldn't fill on his own? I'd have taken Harrison off instead of Klich. Also though Kalvin was struggling after falling on his back in the first half and was not 100% in the second. Maybe that's why we got mugged.

Start with Costa instead of Harrison and keep Klich where he is, on the pitch for 90 mins, with Nketiah to come on for Bamford if he's not done the biz in the first half/

I cant work out why people always say bin Harrison for Costa!..

All that does is move the attack from one side to the other, would it not be better using both and attacking from both flanks?..

Harrison is a main threat when he's playing well, and Costa has shown what he has to offer, but we haven't seen the team play with both together for a full game, surely attacking both side would be better for us and make it harder for opponents!..

It seems there is a problem like some have said with Alioski and Harrison, if there is it should be looked at from the Coaching staff and sorted!..

For me at home we should play Eddie and Bamford up top with Costa wide and Pablo central.

That means two making way.

Forshaw one without doubt. We don’t need his extra protection at home if we attack teams and score.

Who else go drop though?

My first thought is Harrison but then we would need to keep Pablo on the right.

Klich for me has goals in him so I’m not sure dropping him is a good idea.

i like that lineup stoopo. worth a try at least.
i like harrison but i would drop him once in a while, that's what squads are for. not missing pontus at all but i would like him as a back-up.

I don't think there'd be anything wrong with Harrison and Costa both starting a game together, people wanted two fast wide players and now we have them they're saying drop one for the other!..

Left side and right side, they both need filling and football usually goes better with both working together, its not to hard to work the system for both players to be there together!..

I'm looking at two players that are very capable of getting the ball into the box, and coming from both sides in a game puts that bit more pressure on the opposition, and Costa and Harrison are both capable of scoring goals!..

Must be worth a try. Having Costa sitting on the bench and coming on for the last 20 or 30 mins seems a waste of an expensive asset. He is being brought on late in games when we are struggling to score. Give him a go early maybe we can score an early goal then the opponents have to come out at us.
One thing is for sure, many more home games like Saturday will build pressure on the team. We have seen in the past the weight of expectation of the ER crowd can get into the players heads and cause errors and melt downs (eg play-off semi v Derby)
