What about the other 12 from last season?
Its 16 sheite games now, you cannot say its only been 4 matches.
There is also not one sign of improvement, in fact you are weaker all around.
No wum, just dont get the 'its only 4 matches' comments
Only 4 games in

Here's a slightly different way of looking at things
Nobody... Absolutely nobody... expected a title challenge
Being honest we are and were hoping for scraping top 4, while shifting towards a younger more energetic squad
Even with being shiiite for much of last season we weren't a million miles away from top 4... So like everyone else outside the top 2, we're looking at improving results in games we dropped points in last year
We've done that in 2 games, equalled another and got a point less from the Palace game
So we're slightly better off than in the corresponding games last year... Very slightly but still
Mourinho left us in a shiiite state... Unbalanced squad, wasted hundreds of millions... We weren't going to suddenly be competing
The approach we need is to aim to edge and improve on another handful of our bad results last year... And we'll be in the mix for 4th place
Do that, freshen the squad, introduce the kids.... It's a start
We're 2 missed penalties off having a fairly decent start to the season... It's obv not great, but it's not quite panic stations yet imo
I'm oddly optimistic... Might be my pain meds

We really are back to square 1. We are not getting top 4. We did not buy certain players this summer due to the fact that we only want players who want to come play for the club and not the money. Well next summer that the only thing we can offer is big money. We need players that would come in and immediately improve our first 11 and the only way we are going to do that is offer big wages. We can not wait other 5 years on the off chance some of the youth players may come good.

What a load of rubbish. We just made 3 good signings. Players that the club felt weren't solely motivated by money. We just need to sign more of the same and promote the youth that are good enough.

How many have Liverpool and Man City Have promoted from their youth? We are miles behind them but our fans think our youth players are some kind off superstars in the making and we closed that gap. The class off 92 is not going to happen again. Them days are long gone. And them 3 signing remind me how much they cost again and what kind off wages they are on?

Why, have you forgotten so soon. And m'a be the class of 92 is due for a repeat.

No one is saying we can rely on youth completely. We are obviously going to have to make signings as well, which we did in the summer. But we need to make the right signings. We aren't going to move forwards if we sign players that are only coming for the money.
As for the youth, we certainly have some talented ones at the moment. Chances are they won't be as good as the class of 92. However, we need to give them a chance to see what they are capable of.

Jumped too quickly on the Ole at the wheel bandwagon. Reaping the rewards for it now. Not exactly a proven manager is he? He was shocking at Cardiff and I hardly think managing Molde and doing alright is good enough for a team who are watching their two biggest rivals run away at the top again.
------
He did more than alright at Molde. They hadn't won the title in their 100 year history.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then took them through the europa group stage against teams with a much bigger budget..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So he's a Molde level manager, sounds about right because he wasn't good enough for Cardiff

I like his attitude and what I think he's trying to do in that regard to the squad.
His signings have been considered too.
However, he cant organise a defence and going forward I really cant tell the difference between those tactics and Martin O'Niell's.
Ultimately I think he's going to be that fall guy for the next manager but leave a better squad that that is much more easily improved upon and with a lot less problems for the next guy.
How long he lasts will depend on whether the players keep buying into his methods imo which wont last if not getting results. He's been a bit unlucky but he needs wins soon.

So was Klopp the same level when he got Mainz relegated? What a childish outlook. Ole was stupid to take the Cardiff job with the owner sticking his oar in and trying to pick the team.
