Lennon speaks re the xfer window

Sniping as we were unprepared for the second year running for our biggest games of the season. Feel good of the win on Sunday and the new signings aside it is a joke that we were so slow to act this year. Fully behind Lennon and like the guy but wish he’d keep his counsel on a few things

The sniping was fully justified in my view but yeah hopefully lessons learned

See when you hammer Cluj with the new guys you'll feel that maybe a bit more urgency could have had you a tie away from the Champions League. All that faith kept will mean square root of heehaw cause you accepted mediocrity was OK if it would be hard or cost a wee bit.

Watched both the Slavia v Cluj games, they were tight, Slavia only just got through. CL was there for the taking imo

I want players in as quickly as the next guy, but people need to understand that unless you are happy to pay over the odds for players in both fees and wages it's very unlikely we'll ever get much business done early doors.

The players themselves are as much to blame, they like to wait and see what options will arise, makes sense that would like to play teams off each other in order to get the best wage available.
