While everyone was trying their hardest to care about the international teams (and obviously failing), fans of the lower league clubs in Scotland had a double dose of nonchalance as we tried to gain any interest whatsoever in Scotland's most farcical cup, the Tunnochs caramel wafer cup. The farce continues.
Thankfully both Dundee teams were able to celebrate not having to acknowledge this sham of a competition as both went out. I'm not going to say I'm pleased to see United lose - albeit on penalties - but I will shed no tears at the fact that we will no longer be risking injury to first team players in this disgrace of a competition. I'm sure the Dees feel the same way.
