SWANSEA v FOREST - Match Thread

After the first International break of the Season, Forest are thrown right back into cauldron against the League’s early front-runners Swansea.

This will be possibly be our toughest test yet - Swansea are unbeaten so far having Won 5 and Drawn 1 - with Derby being the only team to take points off them

Make no mistake, to get anything from this game will be a great achievement - it looks like Cash will be back at Right Back, and Mir will be missing

The Team will absolutely need to be focused and disciplined. A performance such as we gave against Fulham a few weeks back will need to be replicated if we want any chance of getting something from this game.

Forest have shown already they can get a result anywhere, and mix it with the best But they’ve also shown they’re susceptible to letting is silly goals at times

Swansea will certainly not be looking forward to facing a tricky and strong Forest team, who have shown they’re hard to beat

Keep it tight, keep focused, frustrate the crowd, and the longer that goes on, the better chance we have of grabbing something

Here’s hoping Forest

Club are having a Clough celebration on 15 minutes at the Barnsley game this Saturday. They’ve encouraged supporters to bring along their Cloughie memorabilia too.

Up in Nottingham for a few days for personal reasons

Managed to get 2 tickets for Saturday’s game in the Lower Bridgford Stand

Taking my Son, and it’ll be our first fave together for a few years - looks like it’ll be a cracking atmosphere - there’s literally 100 tickets left - looks like it’ll be a sell it

Nice one REV. I'm not sure if Forza Garibaldi have deemed this one a flag day in the LB as we are remembering Sir Brian, but I'm sure there will be a good atmosphere given the current level of optimism.

Enjoy your day

Forza Garibaldi have gored the Nottingham Princess boats and are leaving from Trent Bridge at 11.45am for a pre-match cruise along the Trent. I’d love to do it one day, it looks amazing. Have seen them sail passed Holme Pierrepont once last season with everyone out on deck chanting their heads off. 😆

They’re meeting in the Southbank prior to that early doors for a breakfast booze up. There may be a ticket or two going spare for the boats if you’re lucky.

NFFC have encouraged all Reds fans to bring flags, scarves, etc in addition to the Forza flags in the LB end for a Clough celebration. A mighty round of applause, and no doubt a few renditions of “Brian Clough’s Red and White Army”, will ensue on 15 minutes.
