Well

That was a surprise as I was sure we would struggle, but what game.
Tammy might just be the real thing. 7 goal is 5 games is superb nah its wonderful.
If we have a striker that can score multiple goals against the smaller sides like a certain harry kane, that is 80% of being world class, so not really worried at this point how he is against the top sides.

All our goals have been by our academy trained and England players, they said it couldn't be done at chelsea.

England better blood tammy in a competitive game quick before Nigeria convince him.

Really happy today as we needed that win even though zonal marking and our defense still worry me.

That goal from tomori though was fire

Instantaneous respect for Lampard today playing a back five to facilitate Alonso. That's top manager stuff right there (not even joking), not overthinking that call/getting caught up in his own BS, etc... you have a player who can only play in one position (well that is) and he has to play this game + the rest of the squad have the capacity to adjust to the change that'll accommodate him! An easy call that so many managers wouldn't have made, I didn't even mention it prior to the game because I just assumed it was a no-go.

Just one of a game full of pleasant surprises for me.

I didn't like the team/formation when I first saw it. Azpi and Alonso as wing backs. Even in the first 30 mins I was like we look better defensively but there's nothing going forward. Then Tomori scores a screamer and all hell breaks loose.

Lampard got it spot on today

Frank is a for being fair and sticking to his guns of picking side based on meritocracy. Admirable.

Could have easily started & persisted with ill-suited "experienced seniority" Giroo, Barkley, Alonso etc like certain (cowardice) managers would but decided to buck that trend.
