We were ahead of City at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season for a few weeks

Then they got 100 points 😂

Actually still frustrates me that Jose bottled it and played for a point at Anfield

We'd started well... And the players just seemed to drop a bit in confidence after that

I'm not massively concerned about how close we get to them as long as we make progress on last year.

We should really be level on points with Liverpool. How we managed to drop 7 points in games we were the only side pretty much attacking for at least 80 of the 90 in all 3 games is incredible. The irony is that we won the games we actually had to defend for large periods but games we completely dominated in attacks we dropped points.
