I'm sure that there will be many Arsenal worshippers who will disagree with this analysis. Some will be angry name callers, some will be in denial, some will still be in a coma, but here it goes!
- The second half display by Arsenal today was a disgrace, they looked like an under 12 team playing against a world-famous Watford.
- Once again no "on-pitch" leadership.
- Once again a clueless manager on the sidelines who looked totally confused. Never attempted to re-shape the defense even though Watford was going through them like knives through butter!
- Three near errors in playing out of the back BEFORE they finally got caught by an errant pass that still is beyond explanation, other than incompetence.
- Then there was the consistent laziness of the forwards who seemed to feel that their job was to lose control of the ball on Watford's 18yd. line and then turn and watch what was happening downfield. Not a single one of them, even the "fresh legs" substitutes, came back to help.
All of this was noted by the game commentators! Maybe Emery, if is still around, should give them his cell phone number because he does not seem to have a clue!
This club is currently either tactically clueless or does not give a not give a damn! How the once mighty Arsenal has fallen.

Fair enough.
But I'm still inclined to forgive today's atrocious performance. If only due to the fact that we're only 5 games into a season built on massive squad upheaval.
Let's see where we are after things settle down a bit, and half the squad isn't still living out of their suitcases.

You are a very forgiving person. However, who is responsible for "half the squad living out of their suitcases"? Someone has to be held accountable, plus it was a seasoned failure who gave away that stupid penalty today. With all due respect, I don't think that the "only 5 games into the season" argument is going to wash this season.

We're looking at a back 4 from which only one might be starting player in two month's time.
Our midfield isn't being allowed to settle.
We're not doing things well enough, but this is a big rebuild job.
My biggest concern is that Emery isn't brave enough. How Torreira isn't permanently installed at the base of our midfield is beyond me. We were comparing him to Kante this time last year ffs.

He could be imo. Slightly less defensive but the way he was playing at Sampdoria and at the start with us was fantastic.
