Bad night for Prem clubs ...

Koulibaly was a monster last night.

VVD hasnt had talks about his contract as his current one still has four years on it.

Given FSG in negotiating youd have to think Koulibaly would be cheaper but he too has four years left.

Pretty sure both play LCB too, despite being right footed, so not sure how that works with Laporte.

I think he's excellent. Certainly was last night and was in both games last season too.

As a total neutral, there’s absolutely NO chance that VVD is moving to another English team.

Honestly can’t believe that City didn’t strengthen at CB in the summer, after losing Kompany, and given that Laporte was your only other top quality one! Bizarre really. Do you have any highly rated youngsters?

We do notably Garcia. We had 3 plus a couple of options like Fernandinho, very bad luck to lose 2 at once. The real prob is that Stones and Otamendi are both fine with Laporte but not solid as a pair.
