How low can they go?

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/09/26/exclusive-derby-captain-richard-keogh-injured-inmason-bennett/

I for one am absolutely appalled reading this.
Derby have, since Lampard has left and took their best players with him, quickly become an embarrassment. An embarrassment to the club, city, area and, dare I say, the football family.
First they blatantly try cheat the FFP system with the selling of the stadium to themselves, and now three of their best players, including their club captain who should be setting an example, are found to be racing in their cars, drunk. Oh dear me.

The proud name of Derby County Football Club is now anything but proud. The owner needs to act swiftly and fine the players involved, publically castigate them and put them on gardening leave pending the police investigation, that will invariably follow.
There are rumours that the crime investigation unit, are thinking about setting up a pop-up office in the stadium, such is the frequency they are there at the moment.

Good management of the club leads to confidence on and off the pitch. Look at the two best supported teams in the league, Leeds and Forest. Leeds manager has, rightly so, just won a FIFA fair-play award and Forest have a most benevolent owner who spends his spare time giving to the needy, is it coincidence that come Saturday, both teams may occupy the top two positions in the league? That’s for others to decide.

In the meantime all you can do as fans of Derby, is join in with the family of football in condemning this sickening behaviour by your club.

I wonder if Paintstripper Division 4 wages will run to Bennett's car insurance premium in three years time?

Just read that the maximum fine for DD (first offence at least) is £5,000.

That's like fining the bloke down the pub £50.

I wonder if they'll get locked-up?

Court fines (when properly administered by a judge with some cahones) are based on earnings so higher earners get fined more.

scouse.ant mcpartlin was fined £86.000 so it could be a very heavy fine.it could also be prison if their alcohol level was very high 1st offence or not.bennetts was as proved by him being sick.i couldn't care less about Bennett or Lawrence as I don't think they should ever come of the bench never mind be in the first team but I do feel a bit sorry for Keogh,i read there were club cars available so it just makes it more stupid

The club cars were there until the end of the meal, say 8pm. Drivers wouldn’t hang around until midnight for the pi55 heads.

Has anyone seen the pictures and videos on social media of the lads completed stoned and puking?

BJ was there too. He lives nearby the pub.

Yep, If their levels came back particularly high they could be looking at time. They’ll already know the level as they would have provided breath specimens on the night ( the bit Dean Saunders got a bit “confused” about).

As mentioned I live half a mile from the scene. Virtually every day there have been forensic people still there, examining.

Yesterday a bloke was surveying the street lamp which had been hit and gauging the level of its ‘crookedness’. I assume from this they calculate the speed at which it has been hit?

Yes, from impact zones to length of tyre marks on the roads, they can forensically examine it all and an expert can state the speeds involved in the crash. There may also be data on the vehicles’ on board computers that could be useful to the investigation as well.

Be interesting if there are any tyre marks at all?

I bet the residents of Little Eaton are glad that lamp post was there?
