I keep seeing nearly all the media trolling our defence and how Arsenal are going to attack and dominate at OT. Since Solskjaer has come in we have nearly dominated all our home games on chances and majority massively on territory. Arsenal since Emery has come in have rarely attacked away from home and allowed tons of shots.
So what they are saying a side that gets battered away from home nearly every game under Emery is going to go to OT and attack and dominate us as teams are not scared to go to OT anymore when stats say visiting teams in PL usually struggle to create more than a few chances even since SAF left at OT. Teams rarely since SAF left create more chances than Man Utd at OT.
Look at last season Man City and Liverpool the two sides who are supposed to be light years ahead of this Man Utd side under Solskjaer.
Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool Injury ravaged Man Utd were the only side at end that looked like winning while Liverpool were playing for a lucky draw as the best chances fell to us in 1st half and 2nd half.
Man Utd 0.47 expected goals vs 0.38 for Liverpool.
Man Utd 0-2 Man City
Man Utd 0.51 expected goals vs Man City 0.53.
Virtually nearly every team Man Utd play under Solskjaer barely create a chance against us since that bad run after we beat PSG. Even that PSG game expected goals was PSG 1.32 vs 2.05 for Man Utd and we know it finished 1-3 although the 3 goals we scored were extremely easy. That was with like our 3rd team as well.

Interestingly after that PSG away game the last 4 PL away games we took 1 point scoring 2 conceding 9. Expected was scoring 6.60 and conceding 5.43 and points 6.26 instead of 1. So pretty much an 8 goal swing in 4 away games than that was expected. Even Guardiola would look like a clueless manager if that was the case.
This season Man Utd were the best side after 3 away games statistically on domination expected points as we concede very few chances and create more than enough to win. Interestingly Arsenal are one of the worst away teams but extremely efficient at both ends. Man Utd are one of the most dominant teams at home.
So expect Man Utd to dominate massively and hope the efficiency rate swings to our favour.

Interesting. People don't realise all we need is to have players who can score regularly as defensive we are one of the best and in midfield we dominate most games territorially like Man City.

I reckon we should have got Javier Hernandez as a Lukaku replacement. The season started great but everyone knew we were 1 striker short. We have youth to fill that gap but we could easily signed a goal poacher we lack. If you look at the top 6 the other 5 score a lot of easy goals while we struggle despite getting into great positions regularly. I think maybe we were expecting Rashford to become good this season but he has regressed and now we got injuries not bringing in a striker to replace the one leaving and also losing a chance creator Sanchez even if he flopped means we don't have many options for squad rotation.
All our hopes this season rely massively on Mason Greenwood. If you said that after we spent so much money you would have laughed. In fact most of our players we rely on are the cheaper ones.
