I saw someone do something similar on the Man U board and thought I would do this. I'm picking a former Arsenal 11 from players that we have let go within the last 2 years, pretty incredible that in the space of 2 years we can pick a former 11 and also enough players for the bench too. I'm intrigued to see what positions people feel we are stronger and weaker and what players we made the mistakes of letting go.

For me the former midfield is a lot better then we have today, Our current strikers are better but we are lacking the wingers, hopefully Pepe can solve this issue for us, we also had a lot of attacking options in that period 2014-2017. Defence it is difficult to say at this stage as we have not exactly fielding our strongest defence in the league so far.

Gnabry, Bennacer, Jeff and Malen are bigger losers than the rest.

I think that list highlights that we've actually made some really decent signings and sales in the last 2 years.
In hindsight we should've held onto Santi and possibly Ramsey, although his wage demand was excessive. Hanging on to Szczesny would have saved us from splashing out on Leno, but I think we have a marginally better keeper now
Ox and Iwobi may turn out to be top class players, however we got decent money for them and reinvested in the rest of the squad, so can't complain really.
