I get that we are shiyte, I accept that we are shiyte but what I struggle to accept anymore is seeing this joker on the pitch. Painful to watch.
What is this ridiculous ball over the top he keeps insisting on playing that never pulls off.
Apart from the one corner McTominay should have put away the rest were diabolical.
And his crossing is just abysmal. Has a lot of time, waits for someone to come and block his shot. Doesn't have enough time just whacks it over everyone instead of looking for a pass.
Seriously what is the point in playing him? What do we have to gain? He's shiyte. How much worse can anybody else be?
Also Lindelof, what happened to this ball playing cb we supposedly bought? He can't pass it at all.
Arsenals only chance all game was created by us. They were trash today and we still couldn't win.

Yep. Pogba played well for the last 10 in the first half and we looked much better for it.
All in all the quality was poor from both sides.

Young may not be great but you'd have to be a fool not to notice the complete lack of targets in the box. He was hitting maguire when he was up there which says it all. Rashford doesn't attack the ball in the box at the moment. James also puts dangerous balls in and no one is in the 6 yard box attacking the ball. It's why we aren't scoring.

The mediocrity emenating from Young for 10 years now is the very definition of our last 10 years, average players like him propped up by great management at the turn of the decade.
We've got rid of a lot of players like him but he still lingers, how old is he now? He can't have much time left with us surely?
Pereira, lingard, young.. even rashford I feel is falling into this category, how many games do they have to play before it's clear they can't be starting games consistently?

The midfield setup is our biggest problem, by far.
What McT has to try to do on his own every week is completely ridiculous.
We’d be much, much better off just dropping Pereira into midfield where he’s a much more effective player anyway.
Ole has us playing with four lightweight forwards all with their backs to goal. It’s nuts.

I had no issue with the personnel we had on the pitch tonight. It would have been much better as a 433 or even the diamond in midfield though.
In addition we also need to get more people into the box and play with a bit more urgency from the off.
Dare I say it, and I may get slated, but I think we win that game with Lukaku up top. This season we have been getting balls across the box but there has been no one there to finish them. We desperately need a centre forward to take the burden off Rashford.

I have to frankly admit my initial buzz when we hired Ole has completely worn off, and naming Young captain was such a pissepoor mistake form Ole, as bad as his pathetic 4-2-3-1 failmation. I don't fault Young and he works hard for the badge, but he should be working hard for a Lg 1 badge tbh. Manchester United Captain used to mean something.
