This. Absolutely the same issue with Martial.

We have to remember that Rashford is still 21 years old though. Patience will be required. He’s not close to the finished article.

The lad is drained of confidence.... The fallout from that pen miss has scared him... Too much pressure being place on him by the fans. Will need time to find his feet again.

We have a very good player here... Fans should be protecting him rather than throwing him under the bus

He isn't going to develop into a top striker. He doesn't have the brain or the instinct for it.

Rashford was a better player under LVG, he regressed under Jose mainly because that manager is a massive nobhead.

Rashford scored 9 in 9 l think last season so hopefully he can capture some of that form again. Nothing will change though until Ole starts being braver with his tactics in starting 11.

How is it we don't train our strikers to make runs into space?

This bothers me most games but it really bothered me last night.

First half when United were attacking our end I just watched what the forwards were doing for a bit and the lack of movement was staggering.

Rashford and Lingard constantly standing still waiting for the ball to come to them. It's not good enough.

I still think Rashford is a big talent and people should give him the benefit of the doubt given he's still relatively young and playing in a struggling team with next to no experience around him. That said though, he is struggling even with some of the basics at the moment and he's going need to figure out a way to get out of this rut soon.

What can we do though but play him? We don't have the squad that enables us to bench him for a few games.
