What a fabulous evening last night was.

It just felt like a proper European night, even though the opposition wasn’t champions league quality it felt like one of those nights and boy did we deliver.

Absolutely fantastic to a man, can’t think of anyone who had a poor game to be perfectly honest and the fact it was so hard to pick a MOTM shows how good a team performance it was.

If I had to pick someone then for me it was Bolingoli, immense. He had a wee wobbly opening first 10 mins but after that he was terrific, his final ball can’t be underestimated either btw, he puts in some lovely crosses and he actually looks to pick the man out.

That leads us to the first goal, wonderful move all round, McGregors ball in behind was executed perfectly and Boli’s movement and cross were perfect for Eddy to head home. The atmosphere right after that was something else, the I wanna be Edouard song is a tricky one to keep in sync but we achieved it last night

My only gripe was we didn’t score more goals until the 2nd as we had chances and sometimes we just needed to relax in the final 3rd a bit more. I’d also have Julien practicing heading at the other teams goals all week, Kant gets in some positions but he needs to start heading the baw flooking downwards

2nd half and we didn’t have to wait too long to kill the game, the impressive Elyounoussi getting his first goal, albeit via a deflection but that wasn’t the best part. His desire to win the ball deep in our half then beat a man and play a lovely through ball for Forrest and then to get up there to finish it off I thought he was very good all night tbh.

Credit to Lennon, tactics spot on last night and he really does have us playing some wonderful winning football.

We now sit top of the group and a win against Lazio in our next game would leave us 1 win away from qualifying already

Onto Sunday now, massive game and if we win we go into the International break in a very good place.
