We can talk about a DoF (which is very important) and other factors but for me the most important thing we need from our next manager is the ability to get the best out of his players. Ole is proving to be as much a chequebook manager as the last couple.
Having a manager who can get blood out of a stone can work wonders with squads who still need money spent and have injury issues. To properly win the fans over you need someone who can even in a loss show passion and see everything left on the pitch after the game.
Not sure who these managers are but they do exist and probably exactly what we need right now.
