Seriously Michael?

Once more we have Michael O'Neill whining and making excuses when his team loses. Certainly it was a bitter pill, but resorting to "fatigue" as the reason for not wining a game that few expected them to win is pathetic. Why not simply say something like: "we had this win in our hands but we could not hold on". However, a statement like that might shine light on his game strategy in the last 15+ minutes. Fans should simply take a look at some vital game statistics:

Ball Possession: Netherlands 77%. N.I. 23%
Shots : Netherlands 23 N.I. 2
Shots on Goal: Netherlands 7 N.I. 1

Looks like the better team won. N.I. did very well.
Let's just leave it like that and forget the post-game drama.

Losing two late goals sucks, but managers do tend to spin it.

Does any manager or player now act in a sporting manner and just say, better team won?

NI should start doing so.

Unfortunately sportsmanship is a dying art. Good behavior can only be reinvigorated from the top down.
A good place to start might be at the international manager level?

Tota!ly agree, fella!

it is so tiresome listening to Wenger he did not see hos player fouling, or jose blame the ref or chelsea physio, or blaming Var.

It would be nice if Michael just said we lost and praise the opposition.
