Good interview from some one that clearly wants what’s best for the club.

Should not be discussing this stuff now, this stuff always distracts from the football, let’s just focus on promotion and keep all ownership issues out of press during season, right now want to see the club celebrating our centenary and focussing on the football.

Whilst I totally agree with you, you should practice what you preach

He's wanted the best all along, just went about it wrong at the start, but he is learning which can only be good on the long run!..

And investment, for someone that isn't going to kill himself for the sake of outsiders that also cant be a bad thing, he's said he wants to stay in the club, he doesn't say nobody cant take a majority stake!..

It looks like there is a possibility someone big could come in, but in what capacity remains to be seen, but hopefully AR is still with the club if it gets back to the Premiership, AR has earned the right to be there no matter what anybody thinks!..

AR has already been on Twitter to say that there will be no investment in the short term, and he is not looking , but that Leeds in the PL will be an exciting opportunity for any investor.

He replied to Martyn Zeigler
"Martyn, the talk was about how Leeds will be again competitive and how we are working hard to be back as a top club again and eventually when makes sense open to other partners. Thank you"

So, any takeover or cash injection would not be imminent, just that the club’s size could potentially see a deal take place further down the line.

For someone in media, its strange how AR has to have to keep explaining himself after comments re tv deals, or Wolves etc etc and now this.

I find AR's approach a bit flaky, to be honest: he didn't go for it in January and this article and his tweets suggest he's not got the money anyway. We've heard all these rumours of Big Oil Money before. He's just spinning.

Interesting chat with a well known 606er yesterday who was spot in re timing, sounds very much like an invite to try and get last minute bidders.

I think you're right to be circumspect. Our expectations of "owner performance" have maybe been lowered to such an extent these past 15 years that we have become "uncomfortably numb". Got to give AR credit for changing the club's direction and giving us two years of Bielsaball, but he's got to go the extra mile this season.

There are striking similarities between ridsdale gambling with money he didn’t have on hope results went our way with AR overstretch ing finances on hope results go our way.

If we don’t go up this season we will be in s real mess and dint expect much of the 30 mill from sales to be available.

There is too much talk from board of us being a prem club and unfortunately the board are spending as if we are.
