Team News
Leeds United
Leeds United may bring back Spanish midfielder Pablo Hernandez for the visit of Birmingham City after three matches out with a muscle strain.
Captain Liam Cooper (groin), Adam Forshaw (hip) and Jamie Shackleton (hamstring) are still out...……..Nketiah to start ??

Birmingham
Birmingham's Ecuador winger Jefferson Montero is still not fit, despite being back in training ahead of schedule.
Josh McEachran, who joined Blues as a free agent at the end of last month, is still working on his match sharpness.

Match facts
Leeds United have lost their last three league games against Birmingham City, all by a single-goal margin.
Blues have won six of their last 10 away league visits to Elland Road - including three of their last four.
Leeds have had 14 more shots than any other Championship side (183) but nine teams have scored more. Of Leeds' 15 goals, only four have come at home - and that includes two own goals.
Since winning at Brentford on the opening day, Blues have lost four times in five away league games. Only Wigan Athletic (5) have lost more on the road this season in the Championship.
Birmingham recorded 21 per cent (26 of 125) of their total shots in 11 Championship games this season in the 2-1 home win over Middlesbrough.
Leeds winger Jack Harrison, who assisted Ezgjan Alioski's goal at Millwall last time out, has had more touches in the opposition box (66) than any other Championship player this season.

That's it then, Party Time at Elland Road and a good chance to kick off the next 100 years with a good win, Birmingham will be another tough challenge but I think we can claim the points with a 2-1 win Pablo and Berardi to score

To the Team and Everyone at Elland Road tomorrow...Have a Great Day

Over to You...…......….Predictions etc.........…............…

Problem with Eddie is that sides sit so deep and park the bus against us so there’s no room in behind.

He would actually shine in a lesser side where he can hit teams on the counter. Would probably look better in the Premiership actually.

Perfect player to bring on if we are a couple up and take advantage of the space but at the moment that’s just not happening.

Roberts needs to playing in the 10 role as much as poss. I think he’s a top top player

I thought Eddie looked a bit heavy legged today, was wearing a knee bandage I certainly have seen him look sharper

Brilliant. We needed that. And we scored after Bamford was pulled. So, hopefully, MB has evidence now that we're not a total shambles without him.

To be fair we were! Brum dictated much of the second half.

The lack of creativity is the big worry. With teams parking the bus we need a bit of ingenuity to prise them open. Pablo usually gives us this but when he is off form or out injured we look clueless. We create so few clear cut chances we cannot afford to fluff them like we do (Alioski today)

Our set pieces are also very poor, hence why teams have no problem giving us corners/free kicks galore as they know there is very little threat from them.

Brum came on strong in the second half and could easily have pinched a draw.
Until we start turning dominance into goals we will always be sweating on results like today.

we were cruising in the first half, should have been up a couple at least.
second half we take off bamford and we cant seem to hold on to the ball and are under siege for much of the half.
must be bamfords fault.

Agreed

I think our main problem is we just aren’t getting behind defences and creating real chances.

Diagonal balls into the box are easy to defend.

Then when we do get a chance we seem to either want an extra touch or we just can’t find the net with a shot.

Second half looked like a Brum goal was coming. Fortunately they couldn’t hit a barn door and Kiko made a couple of good punches and interceptions when required.

I’m not sure Eddie is the striker to fit our system but he’s surely a good option for either Harrison or Costa?

My conclusion after today is Bamford has to start and Harrison makes way for Roberts and also Klich makes way for Forshaw

Like I said ages ago Roberts is our future, quality.

Agreed

But he’s got to be fully fit and long spells of it.

Not convinced he ever will
