Southampton game 2nd November

There is a car park just next to Ashbury's station, 15 minutes walk to the stadium but after the game you miss most of the traffic.

Yep, that’s where I park (It’s the one at Hancocks). It’s a fiver and does mean you miss a lot of the traffic.

I definitely wouldn’t park in the stadium car park, you’ll be there for hours.

Which way are you coming in Joey? I’m not too far away from you, but I tend to go across and in through Hyde rather than the m62 route. If you’re going the latter, probably better to park the other side.

There's an industrial estate Croft street off Ashton New road - they open up on match days. Charges a fiver with a ten minute walk. Get there early though.

Come off the M60 on to Ashton Old Road and the croft street parking is one right and one left. Job done.

Ah in that case, I’d do exactly what Ashtonian is suggesting, definitely better to be on that side.
