Write the season off and rebuild

I must admit I thought we would turn it around, especially after the Saints game but after the last three disgraceful performances even I have lost hope of achieving anything this season.

I'm sure a lot of people think sacking Poch is the answer. However, a) it will never happen as Levy isn't paying him £30m to leave and b) although we would get a short term bounce the issues in this squad are deep rooted.

Now feels like that first Poch season. We need to get rid of these bad apples and try and build going forward. I don't want to see the likes of Rose and Aurier playing for us again.

I usually try and end an article on an upbeat note but there really are no positives at the moment

We are in transition, whether you want to face or not. Poch warned us that the first phase is going to be tough. With players coming and going. Formations changing etc.
I think we will turn it around. The league is a marathon, and anyone thinking the tables will be the same at the end of May, lacks appreciation of this league. That's why Pep was laid back when they were at least 7 points behind at the last Xmas, and was constantly being told clubs at Xmas who lead, specially with such a margin end up winning it.

BS! The league is a marathon, and specially at the business end, every club fights for a point.

When some clubs are rolling over to easily, now watch them when they need the points.

We have suffered yesterday from the "After effect" of playing after the players come back from intl duty.

I thought yesterday was about seeing players respond with passion and effort. And in the end, they did do that.

What was lacking is the cutting edge. We do rely on Eriksen to provide that.

If you have played football, you'll know it is hard to play against a side that has 11 players defending and also that was under immense pressure, more than us.

Now onto Red Star

Morespur. You are living on a different planet dude. Where in our form the last 6 months do you think we are going to turn this around ? We can’t even beat Watford at home mate. We got turned over by a s** Brighton side 3-0, who by the way just lost to Aston Villa yesterday proving just how poor Brighton are. We got humiliated in the CL. Where in the hell do you think this Spurs side are turning it around ? The season is all but over mate.

Even the Bayern result was a joke, four days after scoring seven at WHL, Bayern lost at home to Hoffenheim. If supporters are still blinded by their loyalty for Poch, then there is no hope for them.

Red star attendance will be interesting. Looks like there are tons of tickets still available. Should send a message that the fans won't put up with this at the current stadium prices for long.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Be lucky to get 30,000 midweek, fans are starting to vote with their feet. And with the real possibility of absolutely no European football next season, whether CL or Europa League, Levy surely will not put up with this much longer. I was surprised yesterday to be truthful that the crowd was still so big.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The crowd will be big for league games because of season ticket holders. But for games we don't have to go to we won't be showing up

I will still be there. Glutton for punishment and I like the Neck Oil at £4.50 a pint.

the thing is, that if we don't actually sort this out pretty soon then we will spend the winter scrapping around in an uncomfortably low position.

our away fixtures this side of xmas genuinely point to us getting 0 points.... and we cannot put a Decent performance together if our lives depended on it. very, very concerning
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Chronic, this is about as serious as it has been at Tottenham for years. The form is appalling, and no sign of it improving, in fact, it is getting worse. What should have been a routine six points of Brighton and Watford has turned into one, and that only scrapped because VAR messed up. Spurs and a lot of their fans are sleepwalking into a disastrous season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, it isn't.

Do you forget when Spurs were BOTTOM of the league only few seasons ago?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes I do, and what did Spurs do, THEY CHANGED THE MANAGER.

Man United changed their manager not so long ago, what has that done for them? They have got worse and will have another defeat today. Be careful what you wish for, too many blinkered and fickle fans on here can not see the bigger picture with their tunnel vision.

Be careful what you wish for is probably the most cliched cop out statement used in football these days. Such a weak pointless argument

Sorry Billy, but if you can motivate a team of Internationals to beat Colchester, Brighton, Newcastle, Watford, etc then you have to go.

What makes you think another manager could motivate the same players to be any better, given the circumstances?
