I don't even know what to say to this. Where do you even start?

Three away defeats in a row now for United but somehow we still stay top after a crazy set of results across the division.

Needless to say the manager has been getting it in the neck since the weekend and it comes off the back of him penning a contract extension. The big issue we have is Jamie Robson being injured. It's not that he's an amazing player, but he's our only left back. The other left back is a wing back who doesn't speak any English and is apparently a bombscare defensively. So we're playing our right back at left back, a CB at right back. Not good.

Our other problem area was left midfield and we've never solved it. On Saturday it was Stanton's turn to play there, and needless to say he didn't play well. That's Clark, Appere, Sporle and Stanton all being given the opportunity to play at left midfield and none of them are left midfielders. We should have signed someone for that position.

The manager needs to find a way around these problems and he's not showing it at the moment. It's a dreadful result and we need to see an improvement, quickly, or we'll throw this league away.

United seem to be very hot and cold. Big wins and terrible defeats. No draws this season.

We never have the same result two weeks in a row. It follows a pattern though. So get all of your money on a draw against Ayr.

Anyway Ivan, we feel your pain son, we feel your pain. Should be streets ahead in that league.

Who on earth thought it was a good idea to reward him with a new deal before the QoS game.
For me he's done nothing to earn it.
CH at RB. RB at LB and LB on the bench.
It didn't work against Alloa so why would it work against QoS.
The Neilson lovers tell us it worked against Morton.
We got a 2 goal start against them which made a fairly easy day out.
Still seems to me that he worries about the opposition rather than letting them worry about United.
Very much doubt we'll win the league with him in charge.

Completely agree with that. That's the biggest problem.

Get on the front foot and stay there. Bully the teams. Put fear into them rather than let them get in about us.

I'll never understand the logic of "We've got a mince defence and an awesome attack - had better play defensively and put all the pressure on the defence."

Either way we're going to leak goals. It'd be nice if we could score some along with it.

Neilson is a joke. We signed another King who appears to be even worse than his brother. We have Sporle who is a left-back supposedly but we play a right-back in that position!?! Then Watson a centre-half at right-back!?!

Reynolds can't defend or pass the ball. Benji has the jitters. Harkes and Stanton posted missing. Yet the backroom staff get a two year extension........

Butcher is out injured yet rushed backed with no match fitness built up in the reserves.

See with reserves they are the deputies for the first team player being out. You wouldn't think it with the muppets in charge. The reserves were horsed by Morton as it was kids playing. The likes of Watson, Harkes and Smith should be playing in those games. Yet they are not. Come first team game they are found wanting..

I'm absolutely sick with United. I gave up my season ticket because of the anti-football. For all those who again purchased season tickets you have my sympathy.

The age restriction on players was lifted a couple of years ago. So a manager who is on the ball would be giving fringe players, first teamers coming back from injury and talented youngsters game time in the reserves.

Also what a lot of rubbish not playing reserve games at Tannadice. Years ago you would go up Friday nights, Saturday afternoons to see the reserves. Don't tell me youngsters are getting the same benefit by playing these games at St. Andrews?

Anyway I'm just fortunate to have seen the reserves when they played in a time that was important. Saw a number of trialists including the amazing Ed Machin. Youngsters going up against seasoned professionals and getting guided by first team players building up their match fitness after injury.

Managers and coaches are to busy studying the art of anti-football. For this reason I'm glad I don't have the burden of a season ticket.
