Tough Tuesday night game over the Pennines for the Travelling Faithful but i'm hopeful our away form will see us get the 3 points

Venue … Deepdale … Date...22nd Oct … Kick Off 1945hrs

Team News
Leeds United
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa confirmed he will start with the same side that beat Birmingham on Saturday, with Pablo Hernandez nursing a hamstring injury.
That means Patrick Bamford will keep his place in attack despite failing to score in his past seven appearances. (I hope MBs faith is rewarded with a couple of goals )

Preston
Preston have no new injury worries but manager Alex Neil could make changes after their weekend defeat by Reading.
Captain Tom Clarke remains sidelined with a knee injury, with Louis Moult (also knee) out long term.

Match facts
Preston have won just one of their past nine league matches against Leeds United (D2 L6), a 3-1 victory in April 2018.
Leeds are looking to record consecutive away league wins against Preston for the first time, with this their 27th visit there.
Preston are looking to remain unbeaten in their opening seven home league games of a Championship season for the first time since the 2006-07 campaign.
Leeds have not lost three consecutive away league matches since losing their final four of the 2017-18 season under Paul Heckingbottom.
Preston have only lost three of their past 27 home league games played on Tuesday (W13 D11), though their most recent such game was a 2-0 defeat to Leeds.
Leeds United have won seven of their past 10 games played on Tuesday in all competitions (D1 L2), including a 2-0 away win at Preston in April 2019.

That's it then, pretty good form against Preston, but they have pulled off a few decent wins this season so not a team to be complacent about. Despite them having the best home record in the league I'm thinking we can grab the points with a 0-2 scoreline with as I said earlier Bamford getting both

I would drop Harrison and play Roberts

Harrison had a decent first half and a great assist on Saturday. You could be right though. I think Roberts right and Costa left might work. I’d like to see Roberts at number 10 though.

No chance you guys will get promoted if you keep playing Bamford up front. Guy literally has costs you minimum 6-9 points already this season with his faking chit finishing.

Agree

Simply not good enough

And If you think Roberts is the answer, you really are deluded

Forshaw and Pablo in for Alioski and Costa

Btw Berardi (again) gave that goal away. Sometimes he loses the plot – he's just not up to standard.

Many strikers are almost invisible for the most part of a game, and then just pops up, and gets a goal or two.

I'd rather take that, than some midfielder, playing as striker (yes Bamford) who waste chance after chance

Nketiah is lightning quick compared to slow mo Bamford and would have buried at least two of the glaring chances Bamford missed. Alioski was shocking and rather than blame Berardi for their goal I believe it was Alioski going walkabout up the pitch and losing the ball
that allowed them to break exposing Berardi. It was an easy goal for them to score in the end.

I like Alioski but shouldn't be anywhere near first choice for the team

Agree. Maybe time for Douglas to replace him and Alioski to cover as sub for either Harrison or Douglas.

Forshaw is certainly missed as are Cooper and Pablo

You can't take Pablo, Coops and Forshaw out, and not weaken the team. Having said that, that wasn't where the problem was tonight.
