Just what is it....
Neither can ever make a sustained effort to capture the Premier League these days...or ever in Spurs case, Arsenal fans will look back to the early days of Wenger...but that was an age ago now
Then there's the European competitions, both of which have featured in the latter years, again Arsenal have got to finals back in the day, only to be schooled when it comes to winning it.
Last year both capitulated in the big finals against sides they know very well.
Both have excellent world class stadia to play in, & still fail to bring the prizes home to the 60k in the seats watching.
Both have had/got sustained runs of very highly rated managers in charge with plenty of time to mould a winning side...hasn't happened
Domestically in cups Arsenal have secured a good handful of FA Cups in the last 12 years, which is ok (as have Chelsea)....but have been losers on the day on more occasions than they've won them...
As for Spurs.. one League cup win is frankly pathetic
Neither club is short of money either....so why is it they just can't compete with Manchester clubs Chelsea (& now Liverpool)

Well....the legend Jose has pitched up on the manor...
I actually thought jokingly that he'd be in the hot seat within a week of Poch being sacked....but jeez that was quick from Danny boy
what's he going to bring...some early success I guess, but it'll all go south when there's no money in January or summer,
& then a stupid offer comes in for Kane & Danny boy won't be able to resist trying to paying off his stadium instead of investing in the team.
