Rodgers learnt from that mistake of playing two CDM's and hasn't done it since, not even at Liverpool. Our problem that day was the way we were set up with Maddison out wide because it just doesn't work.

This will be Rodgers problem.

I can see him being a flat track bully. He'll whip some teams when there's no pressure bit when the pressure is on nervousness takes over his teams.

Time will tell whether he has overcome this.

We couldn't beat a crap united team. We also got outplayed by pretty much every team we have played this season in the league

Rodgers was sorely lacking in Europe but he is a very good manager in the premier league. Wouldn't be a bad repalecment for Emery.

Wouldn't be a particularly good replacement either since we're in Europe. One good in league but weak in Europe and one good in Europe and week in league. Only worth getting a replacement capable of both. No sense at all in simply trading one failing for another.

It's not about one being good in the league and the other not and vice versa. When it comes to Emery he prioritises the Europa league. Sure he seems to be more knowledgeable of European teams then Premier League teams and he knows how to set teams up for cup competitions but he is choosing to prioritise the Europa League when he plays players that should be playing in the Premier League on a Thursday night then rests them on Sunday.

This is Emery's biggest downfall. We could easily make top 4 and guarantee Champions League if he would play our best team in the league each week. Play your best team over 38 games and on average you're going to do better than playing your best team in a cup competition where one defeat can result in failure.

Emery prefers the Europa league, the fact that he has won it 3x before means he is now arrogant about it and for some foolish reasons wants to place all of our eggs, or the majority of them in the qualifying for Champions League by winning the Europa league basket - rather than prioritising the league which is what he absolutely should do, this is obvious, logical. Emery is an idiot.

Not only does he pick bad teams every week but his personal priority is to win his 4th Europa League title and we are suffering because of that.

I'd love Brendan Rogers to replace Emery right now so we could focus on what we should focus on, the league. I couldn't give a toss about winning the European Farmer's Poverty cup.

Because we're actually fans Castor. Not just people who like to slate the team and manager and do nothing but say the team is crap and will lose.
