Lincoln v Bolton Postponed

After the first win of the season at Bristol rovers in the week another away trip this time to Lincoln and sincil bank, a new ground for me. Not a regular fixture through the years. The last league game between the clubs was a 1-1 draw in 1986 although there have been 3 cup ties since with the last one 4-0 to Bolton in the fa cup in 2010. After winning league 2 last season Lincoln have lost the Cowley brothers to Huddersfield however have made a settled start under new manager Michael Appleton and are 15th 5 points from the bottom 3 and 5 points from the play offs so their season could go either way. Bolton have reduced the gap on 4th bottom to 18 points. An impossible dream but we love to live the dream on here. Team news. No new injuries reported and Dennis politic is available so maybe a full bench today.

Who needs a full bench we didn't use any subs last time out and we won.

Oh well bit of a pain for those taking the trouble to travel especially those making a weekend of it.
Next up a run of 4 home games starting with the EFL Cup on Tues night.

It's a great pity after our first win. If we have to look for a silver lining at least we shouldn't have any further injuries before our next game.

Positive more time to get players fit, best team out on Tuesday ⁰

Negative now 3 games to rearrange which could clog up the 2nd part of the season and still have injuries.

I have just read an article on the BN site with David Flitcroft being interviewed. We have heard smatterings of his philosophy in previous interviews but the latest goes into more detail. I think that he has got it spot on.
Hopefully, it will be the start of rebuilding our club from the bottom upwards.
