A splendid way to end the week, top of the Europa League group and top of the Scottish premiership.
To play Lazio on Thursday night and Aberdeen away at 12.15 just 3 days later and come away with 2 wins is a mark of the start we’ve made under Neil Lennon.
I think it’s fair to say the majority of the support were against him being appointed and our transfer business taking as long as ever, things weren’t looking great but fast forward to now and for me we’ve had 2 right hum dingers out of what, 25 games or thereabouts? Livi and Cluj. Hibs game wasn’t a massive worry as we played well and games like that can happen.
Credit to Lennon as it’s so far, so good.
Yesterday we all thought would be a slog, but as soon as I seen the pitch I thought this might actually be ok. It’s very rare we go up there and the pitch is as good as that but it was a bowling green and we were able to zip it about.
A lot will be said of Aberdeen’s performance but I think we made them look that bad for the majority of the game.
First goal is just a piece of brilliance from Edouard, terrific finish at the end.
Eddy also heavily involved with the 2nd but the desire from young Frimpong to get on the end of the cross is great to see, got a wee bit lucky but he deserved that.
2 up and cruising but then came the goal of the game and for me one of the goals of the season, a terrific team move with almost every player getting a touch of the ball and then the ball from Rogic, turn from Elyounoussi and composure from Forrest
4th was added soon after and that was game set and match.
2nd half was always going to end up a damp squib, I would have had Bayo on for 45 mins and I’d also like to see him get the same on Wednesday, ensure Eddy is in peak condition for Saturday. My hearts is honestly in my mouth every time Edouard goes down
We now have 4 games before the next international break.
St Mirren (H)
Hibs (cup)
Lazio (A)
Motherwell (H)
Obviously we need 3 wins in the domestic games and a point in Rome would be fantastic, 3 and we’ve qualified.
Exciting 2 weeks ahead

What a way to go. Tragic stuff. There's a grim story behind this.

Think he died from being suspended upside down that long.
