They are just desperate and all seem to have forgotten how many chances Emery already gave him to perform in the past and that he let us down virtually every time.

If he does play tonight and contributes anything of note be prepared for: "I told you so". However we both know it will be meaningless against a second string Liverpool side and if he were to then be given a chance in a fixture of importance he would proceed to let us down again.

Exactly. He could have been a hero last season just by bring it home to 4th (even after he blew 3rd) but no. Flopped bigtime... They're all moaning he should play as though that never happened and he's somehow hard done by. He isn't, the club and fans are. Paid for a stud and got a dud. The horse is bloody useless and they need to stop paying attention to the YouTube clips making it look like it could win the grand national. YouTube is LYING

Ozil has let us down away from home but in home games even against bigger teams hes usually stepped up. Could easily have done with him in the team against Palace and Spurs even against Sheffield United when we had so much of the ball.

Away games against top 6-8 teams id leave him at home.

In which home games against bigger teams did he step up? I can't remember many if any.

This "Ozil must play!" CRAP from our fans is just plain unbelievable. It's as though everybody forgot that Ozil is a no good, prima donna, "I just wanna look cool on YouTube to boost my endorsements," lazy, point blank refuse to defend, USELESS

Sabotage by Emery. For god's sake get a grip. Disagree with a lot of Emery's choices but benching Ozil is/has been 100% correct and should continue indefinitely. If Wenger'd had the cahones to tell Mesut fanboys to go suck one, 3 years ago, when it was already clear he wasn't going to defend. We could have spent all the millions he's fleeced us for elsewhere. Not to mention the many results effected by Mr "I'll just move out the oppositions way" Ozil.

The sabotage here is being committed by all the Arsenal fans with amnesia demanding he play. Emery already knows we can't rely on Ozil after he cost him a top four finish first season. We were in course for it right up until Ramsey got injured. Emery was forced to play Ozil and he blew it. Couldn't even stick a boot in for a few games to see us over the line after Ramsey'd already done the heavy lifting.

Moan ya wanna sack Emery because results are poor. But then you wanna demand he play a player who can only make poor results worse. I mean Jesus Christ you lot. Just how is it you can't understand that with us in the defensive disarray we're in right now, Ozil is THE LAST player we need anywhere near this team. I'd rather play Mustafi at CAM. We're a defensive mess, adding a player who refuses to defend, is just about the dumbest move Emery can make here. And idiot fans who are demanding will be the first ones yelling for Emery's head when Ozil gives away results just like they've watched him do for 4 years and two fat contracts he was never worth.Ozil sold Arsenal FC out YEARS ago.
