Worst subs in history of football?

A relatively good XI? ... No way.

Today's starting XI was one of the softest ever. Almost half the squad was luxury players.

Wolves bossed us all over the pitch for the entire 90 minutes and would have routed us on any other day.

If only you had Xhaka on the bench

Laca was pretty poor, and awful in the second half.
Torreira for Saka, though. Crazy.
Left back subs, who knows.

The real question is whether anyone on the pitch had a good game today.

Why he allowed to play Gwendouzi for the whole game who was by far our worst midfielder is a mystery.

Guendouzi is the only player who didn't shy away from responsibility today.

He tracked back and collected the ball from the defence as he always does. He also drove the ball forward and literally left it at the feet of attacking players who, once again, had gone into hiding waiting for the game to end.

But you would rather pick his game apart based on stats?

Guendouzi is the only player who didn't shy away from responsibility today.

Not sure what game do you watched. He gave the ball away as soon as we had it under control.

He lost the ball in areas you cant allow that. He was by far our worst performer in midfield today.

Yes, he did all that you've said

But stuff like that is bound to happen when you're the only one in your side who actually turns up and everyone else is already looking at their watch 5 minutes after kickoff.

Gwen playing a very good season no doubt. However to day he was awful and needed to be subbed early.
