Ozil world cup winner, Guendouzi at 18 already been part of the France setup. Ceballos fixture in the Spanish team. Torreira who was excellent when he came in last season in defensive midfield, all hardly rubbish. Emery only had to improve our defence which he hasnt done.

The difference is they have a manager that is making them better we dont. Would I take Madison over Ozil if we had a half decent manager who built the team around Ozil, absolutely not. Liverpool for example if you look at their midfield it looks unspectacular but they have a manager who knows how he wants them to play.

Not really what has Maddison actually done? He's not even a consistent fixture in the national team. I dont deny he's a good prospect but based on pure ability he's not in the same league as Ozil. The problem is this manager has no idea how to use him. If Madison was in a team managed by Emery he would suck the life out of him as well.

If you gave me the choice between Ozil and Maddison I'd take the latter right now. Don't even have to think about it too long.
