Mourinho links

I don't like these rumours in all fairness. The main reasons are due to Mourinho being the exact opposite of what Wenger built and it's just a stop gap. He isn't a guy to build teams, he's the guy that can work with under achieving teams who should be winning, and getting them to winning ways. At this point, Arsenal are so far behind underachieving, it's a project that would take at least 2 years just for the club to be considered title challengers, and still another one year at least from winning it if we are to assume Pep and Klopp will sustain the level of current success with their teams.

But on the positive side, he got a man utd team in a similar situation as us to finish 2nd, win the Europa League and get them back into CL football, which is what we need.

It seems like players don't respect Emery, but Mourinho won't have any issues in that regard. There are also a few players who would collapse with his public calling outs and a more aggressive man management behaviour. However one man that could benefit is perhaps Ozil. I think our current attackers should be fine with him in charge.

I can see Torreira being frozen out. If he's going to cry at Xhaka being booed, thee's not much hope he's going to handle Mourinho. Bellerin is another, though I hope I'm wrong on that. Kolosinac will probably be one of his favourites, and frustratingly so may Xhaka.

Martinelli and Saka should say goodbye to any more playing time.

Arsenal have really cocked up with Emery big time.

I think Emery's nadir will be against Leicester City.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us turn Leicester over.

We always seem to have that one game early in the season where we travel to a top side that's in red hot form and score 3 by half-time.

When Leicester were last in a real rich vein of form and ultimately went onto win the Premier League we were the only team around the top 4/6 that actually did any real damage to them in the League. Had any of the other bigger clubs not just rolled over against them we probably would have won the league that season too.

Yep can see that happening and then in the second half we would concede 4.

No, you can forget about that.

Hoeness said once "I would rather die than take him as a manager"

Can't see Mourinho coming and don't think we should even entertain the idea. Shows how disgruntled fans have become with Emery that he is even spoken about.

If we want a stop-gap authoritarian then I would rather Biesla to be honest.

Apparently we were interested in Favre when Wenger left and his reputation has only grown since. I get the impression the club won't poach a manager though and will look at somebody without a club or in a coaching capacity.

I would literally stop supporting Arsenal during his tenure. He is the antithesis to everything that made me fall in love with this club.
