Nev What no - VAR

Good Morning, Well TB's and all of realists knew that this was the big one and more of a reflection of where we are today.
Worthy of top four place and surprised to hear a pundit say we could be a top six team......WWWHHHAAAT
This season our squad will come more into play as we have the best depth we have ever had.
How will my second team Arsenal feel about Saturday imo pooooping themselves.
So what am i worrried about - how many yellow cards have our centre halves got and how close to a suspension.

Secondly i hope we are wrapping Vardy in cotton wool and what happens if away fans stop having a go at his Mrs ....disaster

It's getting harder Nev, nothing to counter against these days, it's all too good.

JV looking on target for the Golden Boot.

Soyuncu worth £120 million

Chilwell Learning to cross

Gray - Super Sub

Perez suddenly fitting in and looking confident.

Just the question of Harvey now, very Chilwellish, looks promising but when will it click for him, luckily the Manager seems to have patience with him, can he re pay that?

You wouldn't be too far wrong going off the barometer of his predecessor.

Amazingly we'll be favourites against Arsenal next week. Crazy days....

Chilwell’s performance is definitely a positive from yesterday. His interplay with Maddison and Barnes was a joy to watch. He looked dangerous and played some decent passes in to the box. He’s definitely starting to improve again after a shaky start to the season.

Barnes on the other hand went backwards after his stunning performance against Southampton. He’s young and he will have you and down games. He needs to work on his decision making and final pass/shot. If he’s progressed these areas he could be a real talent, but yesterday was not his day.

Finally it’s worth pointing out how satisfying it is having a club United. Say what you like about Puel’s reign and whether he was or wasn’t a good manager, I don’t really care. What is now evident since he’s gone is that we’re all pulling in the same direction. Players are happy, fans are happy, the club looks a happy place to be.

Players will be thinking twice about leaving our club right now if it’s not for Liverpool or Man City. Vardy has absolutely been justified by turning down Arsenal whereas Drinkwater, Mahrez and Maguire have seen what can happen at a “big club”. Kante the exception but he’s the greatest player in the world at what he does.

Rodgers deserves credit. He’s taken a squad and he’s getting them to fulfil their potential. That’s all you can ask. And what’s scary is we’re still a work in progress. I don’t think we’ve seen the best of Tielemans, Barnes, Vardy, Perez or Maddison yet - scary!

Great times to be a foxes fan. Thanks to Rodgers we’re Leicester City United!

I couldn’t tell whether that was supposed to be an eagle or a seagull.

Suspected the latter as a means of winding up the home fans.

Yes it’s difficult to find anything to moan about at the moment. It’s at times like this that you need the likes of JohnGee back to lecture us about the structure of the club and be a general prophet of doom. I suppose it might be worth pointing out that after sacking Pearson, Ranieri, Shakespeare and Puel we’re still looking like a sustainable Premier league club. This all suggests that the structure is actually very good indeed and that we’re not reliant on one single figurehead for success.

Pundits are a little bit obsessed with Brendan Rodgers at the moment. They’re purring over the transition to a passing game. It’s as if he’s built this side from scratch and the transition has happened overnight. He’s certainly been great since he’s come in, but moving away from the defence and counter attack style and the 15/16 title winning side started under Puel. Recruitment has been excellent and the team has evolved. That is a massive achievement when you think about it. To win the Premier League was (according to all the pundits) a fairy tale never to be repeated. So for that side to be completely rebuilt into a new team, with a new style, under a new manager and to be challenging in the top few again is big news for a team like Leicester.

That’s not do say that Brendan doesn’t deserve a lot of credit. Whereas Puel instigated change like someone wielding a large scythe; BRodgers has much more subtlety and man management. Puel did a necessary job of getting rid of a lot of deadwood, but failed to get the most of the talent that remained and ended up alienating the players he needed as well as those he didn’t.

BRodgers is bringing everyone with him. The biggest evidence of this is probably Vardy. As we’ve been watching Leicester for a long time we all know about Vardy’s capacity to learn, evolve and get better. Others might not. He just chases balls over the top doesn’t he? Just think of his last 5 goals: header, found space in the box and a close in finish, header, penalty, found space in the box and a close in finish. He’s learned, evolved and adjusted and, with almost everyone else, is buying into Brendan’s philosophy.
