Reece James

Since his return from injury we've been sat quietly waiting for him to make an impact and what an impact he made last night. In stark contrast to the first ajax game where he played it simple and looked like he was playing within himself as to not make any mistskes. Last night with a game to chase his dynamism down the right drove us forward with great effect. Constantly giving Willian the option of an overlapping run, a couple of very decent crosses along with the vital equaliser showed us exactly what he's capable of and why he needs to be brought into the team sooner rather than later.

No but with all due respect to Grimsby they were no real test

Very impressive at Wigan last season

Destined to be a top player

His sister is meant to be a good player as well

Reece' qualities have been noticeable for a long while, Frank understandably cautious with unleashing him coming back from injury.

I maintain that only the injury setback stopped him from being an established first-choice starter now.
Demonstratively better dynamic going forward and playing out from defence, over Azpi.

Delivers high level performances consistently.

Big fan of him, he just has all the tools you’d want. Future captain imo

Was fantastic when he came on last night.
As apposed to Alonso, you know it’s bad when your rb is on a yellow yet you’d rather he went to lb and Alonso gets taken off.

Seems we've got a future leader with RJ, as for Dave, I always thought he was better on the left anyway.

He comes across in his manner and confidence as way older than he actually is
