Celtic's trip to Syria tomorrow

Well, you'd think that's where we were going given the media coverage the past 2 weeks

Most fans will be on their way today but i know a few boys who went Monday night and the Irish boozers they were in last night looked jumping. Not a hint of trouble yet and whilst tonight and tomorrow are likely to be the ones that pose any risk, i think it's been blown out of proportion.

Will the Lazio ultras look to give a few people a kicking or a stab in the @rse, yes, most likely, as they would have had we sat and thanked them for their n@zi salutes 2 weeks ago.

The desperation for it to kick off from some people is a bit like the Neil brings it on himself patter. A banner telling facists to fluck off does not merit what many are praying for, ffs the same people probably went to Ibrox 2 weeks ago dressed head to toe in flucking poppy flowers

What seems to have been lost in amongst it all is the game itself, it's a biggy but it's a free hit almost for us, we've picked up 7 points from the first 3 games and that is a good total after 4 games too so no matter what happens tomorrow we'll still be in a good position.

If we do manage to sneak a point tomorrow then it puts us on 8 points with Cluj on at least 6, the most they can be on is 9. Rennes need to win tomorrow otherwise they're out and they're missing a few key players so i'd expect Cluj to get a draw at least.

The only way we can qualify tomorrow is if we beat Lazio and Rennes fail to beat Cluj.

Could be a memorable night but i'm expecting us to lose
