Who's Off To Bayern?

So Wenger is the favourite to take over at Bayern. Which players if any, might he look to recruit from AFC? I'm hoping he stills loves Xhaka so offers to take him there. Maybe even negotiate a deal with his beloved waste of space Ozil too. About a snowballs chance in hell on Ozil but Xhaka is a realistic possibility, if Wenger still rates him.

Sadly I think AW, if he comes for any gunners, it'll likely be Holding, Bellerin and AMN. I imagine that Bayern plus Wenger, could be an attractive idea for those 3 especially (assuming they personally parted on good terms with the boss). We're nowhere near drowning in talent to the point of being able to lose 3 young players with that much between them.

No idea on the likelihood of any of this but it does strike me that should he choose to, AW can grab Bayerns cheque book and come calling for half the younger players we currently seek to build the team around. I can't see them turning him and CL football down personally. Jan window could be a devestating one for the Arsenal squad.

loved him enough to buy him

It was Gazidis, the same Gazidis who gave him a contract extension after Wenger left.

Nah. Wenger loves Ozil. Gazidis had no power whatsoever in player matters. Wenger made that clear.

Were we talking about Ozil or Xhaka?

Well if anyone can get the best out of bayern, we all know it's Wenger. They should trust him.

I already said that Xhaka and Ozil were possible and no chance, respectively. So don't know why people are carrying on about those two.

My concerns are in primarily the names mentioned. Gooners have all been positive about Holding in particular. AMN's talent and ability (though he's been poorly used) have long been deemed quality by most all. Bellerin has his flaws but I'm sure most managers would take him if they knew they could get him.

Much as haters want to malign the current squad, it does possess some bright prospects for the future. A future that we require them for. We're in the procarious postion of the ones we'd want to keep, to build with/around. Haven't yet become prominent enough due to team chaos, for us to command top dollar, PL inflated cost. I shudder to think what the mess is around contract time left. If previous form is anything to go by, the youngsters with a bright future, AW and Wenger, will be able to pick up for chump change. Making them bright prospects for Bayern's future.

You forget it's only disgruntled Arsenal fans and WUMs (a large portion of whom became fans in his glory era), who believe Wenger isn't one of the world's best managers.

I don't expect much other than success for him. Bayern job is near shooting fish in a barrel after managing us lot for 20 years. Alot of the disgruntled I mentioned are going to be left looking incredibly stupid after he achieves success there after they hounded him out of the Emirates claiming he was rubbish.

I'm sure everyone is suitably shocked at that...seemed nailed on...didn't it...
