2 home games against sides we should be beating.
Of course getting the win is important but scrappy single goal victories at home against these type of sides don’t fill us with optimism for the future which is what this season is all about now.
Take for example Klopp’s first season at Liverpool. He finished 8th but did reach a couple of cup finals and handed out some hammering in the process.
So far I haven’t seen enough reason for optimism under Ole. Other than the 2 Chelsea games, the Norwich game and the first half vs Liverpool we haven’t seen any performances either.
Ole needs to be taking advantage of games like these two to show he can be the right man to take us forward.

Alkmaar have beaten Astana 5-0 to follow their 6-0 win two weeks ago. We could only put 1 past Astana at home.

20 shots and tons of chances and 1 goal was our problem. For a team that creates next to nothing every game, its strange we are near top of the expected goals stat since OGS has come in.

The only real difference since we beat PSG to how Solskjaer reign started is we went from a decent efficiency at both ends to like the worst at both ends.

Let’s be honest Ole is not good enough and not elite level and that can be seen by our performances. We create next to nothing every game

Statistically in terms of outplaying the opposition he is by the far best manager we had at both ends of the pitch. The problem is we are like the least efficient side since SAF left. Any manager would look clueless when you need tons of chances to score, can't even score penalties a lot of the time and concede soft goals.

Typical knee jerk.
He gets to the end of season for me, and that includes everything as long as we aren't relegated. Give him time to put across his ideas. Peehaps one of the best things in disguise would be missing out on CL footy next season, forcing our scouts to work harder than flavour of the month uber expensive signings. We need players that have a point to prove. Rome wasn't built in a day..

It's out there. Just have to work harder for it and not just play football manager 2020 to find glaringly obvious and super expensive players. That's just not worked for us. I actually think we need to reset and the best way is to miss CL.
