Capitulation

Manchester City surrendered the league when the Manager failed to replace Vincent. An utterly woeful decision, almost as bad as letting him leave at all.

Can't defend for toffee.

City are awful. If the CL isn't won then PG will be sacked - or forced to walk. The owners will not tolerate this rubbish after ploughing in £1.5BN in pursuit of every honour.

Pro rata of spending, Man City are not much better than Birmingham City.

Hard to argue with that really. Criminal decision not to replace Kompany in stature as well as quality.

The must go out in January and gamble on a big time centre back.

Kompany was with the club 2 years before he was even a first team regular and it was another year before he became a CB.

United have never replaced Vidic and now they're nowhere, Chelsea haven't replaced Terry ... you don't just go out and buy these kind of players off the shelf.

These type of players maybe come along once in a generation. But maybe if you kept Vinnie as a player-coach he'd still have that influence in the dressing room. The man was a true talisman. We've never replaced Keane or Vidic and its cost us.

Leicester should of replaced McGuire.........

Oh hold on.

Top four is sorted but Chelsea are on a roll.. This is not a two horse race!

Not everyday I agree with Boris who does talk a lot of sheit but the “replacing Kompany” thing is tiresome.

You don’t just go and replace a player like him at one go. They are going to take their time as they did Laporte

He went to Anderlecht with a view to build up his managerial and coaching experience, he wasn't going to go from club captain to Pep's No.2 hoping to pick up a few pointers on the way.
