Luciano Acosta

Argentine player and fellow DC united club mate to Wayne Rooney has said he's been encouraged to join Rooney at Derby in the winter transfer window.

Not sure what the possibility of this happening is as Acosta isn't an international player so he'd have to have an European passport - we all know what happened with the last Argentine and a European passport! Do US Green cards get considered at all?!?!?

Apparently Rooney and Acosta had a strong understanding on the pitch providing assists to one another and considered one of the best duos in the MLS, they were dubbed 'Lucharoo'. Acosta was on his way to PSG last season but the deal didn't materialize.

Could be an interesting addition if it could happen - but I'm not going to build any hopes due to red tape and from seeing the YouTube video - Polish player Kaz and 'Butterfly' looked good from their online footage.
