Man City Make Formal Complaint

It just gets better and better. It looks like our win against them has truly hit them where it hurts. Sore egos.

First, Pep acted like a raving lunatic on the touchline. Then Sterling acting a fool against Gomez. Now this...

What a bunch of sore losers.

What we want is consistency.
If Michael Oliver waved play on on both handballs inside the box, then City should not be penalised in future for such incidents.
Or is this too much to ask?
Also, when Sterling was pushed by Mane without any penalty, we want Riley to clarify that in future, if a City player does such act, he should not be penalised.
If it's good and acceptable for Liverpool, then it should be the same for all 20 PL teams.

good post. I think most teams just want consistency. CHO got dived for a similar incident a few weeks ago. Sterling did not get a penalty OR get booked for diving. So what is it? Both looked at by VAR I believe? and if not why wasn't sterlings looked at by VAR, and then either booked or pen given?

Pep is a bad loser. To be fair VVD got away with slide tackling Sterling, clipping him round the ear and slam-dunking him. All in one go.

Three yellows for each minimum.

Very funny mind

And thats why he's a serial winner.
Liverpool are good losers though. And their trophy count within the past 15 years confirms this.

I hope so. I try to teach my boy that you compete as hard as you can on the pitch and if it’s not enough then you’re a good loser. That’s what sport is all about.

Surely something only your classic glory hunter would disagree with.
