Said the other day that Edmundson was doing his nut because of lack of service. Not sure who you would drop to promote him especially if Nketiah is fit again.
Cannot see it myself.

Based on his performance today, really don't see the point of Douglas.

Sad to say it looks that way so far

Think Douglas was fine until he got injured last Christmas had two more injuries since and cant see him getting back in the side now, sadly just not worked out for him,

Douglas can play. We saw that when he first joined us.
We've seen players suddenly hit their form (Phillips & Forshaw to name two) and become a key part of the team.
Douglas has disappointed me though so far (especially as he was supposed to be a free-kick expert when he came).
I've learned not to write players off too early though.

Is 15 months too early?

Douglas hasn't shown much for us but he has been injured a lot.

Costa has looked a lot better I the last couple of games

I recall the hype around both signings, Douglas best LB in the division, with a great left foot, loads of assists and great set pieces etc. Costa was going to terrorise defences creating and scoring goals.

Costa has been better in the last couple of games, running around and putting a shift in at least.
As for Douglas, his defending has not been all that good. I seem to recall even before his injuries opponents seemed to get quite a bit of joy down his flank. I also thought he gave a lot of fouls away, pulling down the winger who was getting the better of him.
Big scope for improvement from both of these before we can think of it as money well spent
