Former Players

In the last week Santi has scored for Spain, Rambo so far has scored two tonight for Wales, Gnabry a hat trick for Germany and the Ox for England. Klopp is also managing to get a tune out of him.

We seem very good at finding talent (Santi was already a proven player) but so poor at developing it to its fulll potential and hanging on to the right players. Instead we fill our club with useless deadwood.

Our club is so badly managed at the moment and has been for many years.. The fact that we are hanging on to a useless manager when Spurs have fired an excellent manager is further evidence of our utter decay. The sooner we are bought by an ambitious owner who wants to win things and not just milk the fans for every penny, the better.

Our club is like an old man in his armchair. Sinking ever lower and stinking of pisss.

I know Santi isnt getting any younger but a cheeky Jan bid?

Still miles ahead of any of our trash midfielders

he needs to come back and play in a testimonial match. Just imagine 90 mins of oh santi Cazorla! ringing around the Emirates.

We should look at either bringing back Cazorla or Fabregas in January!

Poetically put.

I noticed exactly what you mean. In the old days players would leave and would not play as well as they did for us (Hleb, Flamini, Overmars, Vieira, Petit, Sagna, Nasri). But now they play better - sometimes without having left. I watched the Switzerland game last week and although he wasn't brilliant or up against top opposition, Xhaka was immeasurably better than he normally is. And Liechsteiner, a has-been we didn't like or want, was pretty lethal down the right.

Don't understand Jose as a choice for Spurs right now at all. He spends almost as badly as Pep. Last thing Spurs need straight after building the stadium is a manager who spends astronomical amounts.

This is what indicates how poor the team has been ran for past few years. I always have said Arsenal individuals are good but as a collective they’re baca d need a proper coach/man manager in the mould ok Klopp to get the best out of them. I look at Liverpool’s midfield and don’t see how their individual players are any better than ours yet they won CL.

We actually have the makings of a good squad apart from Wenger holder overs whose committent and mentality is lacking. The problem is now to get someone who can mould them together. You have to remember our ex-players are playing in a less intensive environment now. Even then Ramsey can hard stay injury free and Santi isn't bullied by 6ft+ athletic imposing CMs day in-day out.

The one common thing among the 4 players listed is long term injuries. All have missed complete seasons with injuries, not sure what you can do about that.
