Success equates to trophies won, José is the main man, poch a non runner.

What success did poch have though? He improved spurs, but were getting worse again.

Poch and success in the same sentence

You cannot ignore Spurs form since Feb. The worst consistent form in a long long time.

Poch has been successful in elevating Spurs to a much greater and consistent level, but we've averaged about 1 point per game since Feb, which is extremely poor.

If, like AVB, we were on the margins of top 4 when he was sacked then fair enough this would be seen as a rash decision and not allowing time to see address the issues. But this form has gone on so long now one begins to question whether it is possible to snap out of it.

SO not a victim of his own success because while perhaps most fans might hope that we challenge they don't expect it. But to be 12 points from City in 4th already is simply not good enough, compounded by last seasons form.

Poch is a victim of his own success because he allowed the club to punch well above its weight. Therefore, having secured successive CL qualifications and reaching the final last year, expectations were very high. He was expected to complete the same trick against the background of the board's inability to deal with player transfers and wages competently.

We're gonna be victims of Mourinho because I think he's a busted flush, but the board has been seduced by his past record.

I really hope I'm wrong.

Have you seen the Premier League form for Spurs since December 2018?

You'd think Poch had won the quadruple 5 times in a row the way people go on about it.
