For 3 seasons lustig was our weakest player

But he was funny , so people defended him and tbf he was good prior to that

But in the end he was an absolute car crash of a player

The gladbach game summed him up

Clearly targeted that night because they knew who the weak link was

The amount of times he cost us in Europe was ridiculous
His oh I'm injured in Barca was embarrassing
Awful player , nobody was more happy than me when he fcked off
People still defend him despite admitting he was cack for at least two whole seasons

He was a weak link at times, but nowhere near as bad as you make out, had plenty of good games last season too.

He became a whipping boy for some and that meant that any errors got highlighted whereas other players playing as bad or worse went unnoticed, he always gave his all and that's all we can ask, if anyone is a plum it's the guy picking him and not replacing him.

Id give my all if I was playing for Celtic , and I'd just be as funny as lustig on the pitch

Cmon admit it , the guy was awful ...he made mistake after mistake ...always likely to lose the ball and come the end of his time at Celtic I'm not even sure what attributes he had that merited getting near the first team

I won't admit it no, coz it's not true.

And no it's not the barometer for playing for Celtic, but it's the barometer for not calling him a plum, I would reserve that type of talk for the players who don't give a sh!t, he gave his all that's all we can ask from him, we can ask for better from the club though.

Also the guy got 82 caps for a pretty decent international team, so i'd say his quality is less in question than your appraisal of his quality.

He certainly wasn't quality for Celtic
Infact he was the weakest link for many a season

Were/he's lucky rangers weren't upto speed during this time

His crossing was terrible, he had no pace , couldn't tackle a fish supper and he constantly gave the ball away

I agree 100% with this. Nice guy (maybe) but could ruin a whole weekend for me.

I mainly blame Rodgers for making no real effort to get a replacement in.

There no doubt he should have been replaced 2 seasons before he was, but it's not his fault and I don't think he should be remembered as sh!te because the club didn't replace him once he was past his best.

He overstayed his welcome for some but I'll remember him as a good player who have his all, no more no less.

I probably remember him more for being injured than for being scheidt.
