Hi all. Don't want to get into another article about Jose. I really hope it works - I'm currently about as doubtful as you can get but I'm happy to be proven wrong.
Two things that have been glossed over a bit:
1. According to lots of reports, "Pochettino was dismissed by Levy in a face-to-face meeting at the training ground on Tuesday. He did not have the chance to say goodbye to his players."
If this is true then that's appalling. For everything that Poch did for us, he should at the very very least have been able to have some time with the players. This makes me so mad.
2. The Lyon president in October 10th on approaching Mourinho for the Lyon managers role:
"We had some fairly flattering exchanges over SMS. It was nice for everyone. He did not accept our proposal to meet because he has already chosen another club"
This has seemingly been in place for a while. Has this appointment been inevitable for a month or so now? Or did Levy have Jose in line as back up, but really did Poch the longest time possible to convince him that he could change things, and that didn't happen? I don't know.
Right now seeing him in a spurs training top looks so so wrong. I hope we get the good Mourinho, something did need to change... not sure yet if it was this.
Two things

Levy is a vicious caaant. I'm sure that's good to be like that in business which is why he's excelled at it. Sadly he's also a football fraud and a bit of a priick.
I've always said it. It's no coincidence that so many evil men in films and TV are bald.

Reports were that Levy asked for Poch's resignation first... I doubt he was fired on the spot.
