Yes we were. Palace came out of the traps and went for it. I don’t know how many near - very near - misses on goal they had but it wasn’t good. The Reds could hardly, at times, struggle to put a couple of passes together. A O-C on the right wing, peripheral. Gino, not far in front of him. They had a goal disallowed in the first half that I’ve seen given many times.

Nice to see Christian back on the field, he had a good assist for Zaha’s Goal.

Roberto, what a player. Right time, right place 2 - 1.

Move on.

Just heard we haven’t kept a clean sheet for 10 PL games.

Need to sort that out.

We were missing a little something but cant complain. 3 points away to Palace is brill. What a player Zaha is. I dont play FIFA but surely he must have 99 dribbling

Diced with death and came out on top. The mentality beasts strike again. These type of results are what makes champions. I think we'll need to grind a few more out before the season ends. Anyway, it's job done and all eyes on what city do now. We can relax until Wednesday.

I'm sure opposing fans and media will label this Liverpool side the luckiest to win the league if it comes to pass (and why not?) But I don't really care. You don't fluke your way to a premiership title. Even Leicester won it with merit. The decisions that spark debate is merely ammo, born out of frustration. At the end Liverpool will hopefully end City's reign and begin a new chapter of PL dominion.

Apart from VVD and may be Lovren, all players had an off day. But wtf happend to Gomez. He came on ti help TAA but looked as he's playing for Palace. He was extremely poor.

In fairness, the midfield and forward lines played well at times, esp in the second half, when the Palace boys started to tire. But that was one hard game to watch.

You'd think Gini be full of confidence guy was a facking statue half the time, chasing shadows the rest hes in a mf with Fabinho and Hendo and he cant even stand out and a more attacking/creative player like he does for the dutch.

Everyone was below their own standards tbf, Mane and Bobby did ok but nothing more, CBs were solid tbf to them, fullbacks were well off it. Klopp subbing hendo over an invisible Wijnaldum did píiss me off. OX aint ever gna work out wide we've seen this his whole career why are we putting him back there now? Stop with that sheite please ffs, get Wilson back if you have to...

We had chances at 1-0 to put it to bed, played better 2nd half but that wasnt and achievement. We got away with it again, but fair play they keep finding a way and grinding them out despite not playing well at all. Great 3 points.

If Shaqiri is fit shouldn't he play there? You'd think that would be his best position. Really strange why he's not had a run. Could be that Klopp doesn't trust him defensively, either way it's bizarre having a £75k a week player sat on the sidelines.

Did Palace have a goal ruled out? Didn't watch the game but heard on the sky. Would have been interesting that if it was given. Anyway, it's a good sign when a team wins regardless.
